2. Measure, don't guess. Use a small ruler or the handle of a makeup brush. The lash should end where your natural lash line ends.
3. Trim from the outer edge ONLY. Turn the lash around so the longer outer tip is facing you, and snip a tiny 2-3 mm piece off the outer corner.
4. Check both eyes. Test the lash on your other eye before cutting. Many people have slightly different eye widths.
5. Contour the band. Gently curve the band between your fingers for 10 seconds. A pre-curved band fit better and stays put.

THE MOST COMMON LASH-TRIMMING MISTAKES

• Cutting from the inner corner. That corner is what anchors the lash. Trim it and the whole strip shifts.
• Cutting off too much. You can always cut more, but you can't add back. Start small.
• Using blunt scissors. Blunt scissors crush the lash tips. Use tiny, sharp craft scissors.
• Skipping the second eye. Always compare the trimmed lash to your other eye before wearing them.

Should I trim the inner or outer end of lashes?

Always trim the outer end. The inner end is shaped to match your inner eye corner, so cutting it ruins the fit.

How much do I need to trim off?
