Seasonal Lash Storage: Humidity and Heat Tips

You stored your favorite lashes in your car's glovebox in June. It's August now, and they look like they went through a washing machine. That's why seasonal lash storage is not a luxury. It's survival.

Lash fibers are molded into a curl at the factory. That shape is a memory, and it can fade. Humidity and heat are the two things that erase it fastest. When the air gets steamy or your bag gets hot, synthetic fibers relax and lose the curve that makes them look natural.

THE 5-STEP SEASONAL STORAGE ROUTINE I GIVE FRIENDS

Clean the band. Use micellar water and a cotton pad to remove every trace of adhesive and makeup. Oil from old glue will soften the band faster.
Dry them fully. Put lashes on a clean tissue and wait at least 10 minutes. Trapped moisture is a slow killer.
Use an airtight case. Put lashes in a lash container with a tight lid. The original box is okay for one month, not for a whole season.
Add a silica gel packet. Those little white bags that come in shoeboxes? Keep a few. One in your lash case controls humidity.
Store away from heat. Keep your case in a drawer, not in a bathroom or car. The bathroom's steam will undo everything you did in step one.
