THE TRIMMING TRICK THAT CHANGES EVERYTHING

Here is the most important lesson. You have to cut the lash down to size. Most strips are long enough for a Western eye, but for Asian eyes, they are too long. You should cut the lash from the outer edge, never the inner edge. If you cut the inner edge, you ruin the delicate angle that prevents poking.

Hold the lash up to your eye. Look for the point where the strip extends about 2mm past your natural outer eye corner.
Take small scissors and snip from the outer edge.
Once cut, fold the lash in a 'U' shape for a few seconds to loosen the band. This makes it conform to your eye's curve.

When applying, focus on pressing the lash down firmly in the middle. This is where most gaps happen. If the inner corner lifts, you have pressed too far. Let the inner corner float just before your natural lashes begin.
