Test 2: The Steam Test (3 minutes)
Boil water in a small pot. Turn off the heat. Hold the lash with tweezers about 6 inches over the steam for 15 seconds. Check: Does the band warp or curl out of shape? Does the lash lose its curve?

Test 3: The Flex Test (30 seconds)
Pick up the lash by the two ends and bend it so the tips almost touch. Release. How fast does it return to its original shape? If it stays bent even slightly, that band will lose its spring in humid air.
