2. Measure first, then trim. Hold the lash against your eye. It should sit about 2 millimeters from your inner corner. Trim from the outer edge only. A 1 to 2 millimeter trim changes the whole look.
3. Press up, not down. Place the band directly on your lash line. Then use your fingertip to press the outer corner gently upward. That small angle creates the lift that reads as a cat eye.
4. Let the outer half do the heavy lifting. The inner half should feel like your own lashes. If the whole lash is heavy, your eye looks like it is hiding behind a curtain.
5. Blend with one coat of mascara. Use a brown-black or black mascara, one light coat, wiggling at the base. This melts your natural lashes into the strip.
