Doll lashes usually have evenly spaced, slightly longer fibers that open up the eye. To make them romantic, you need three things: a soft C or B curl, not a dramatic D curl; a subtle length difference between the inner and outer corner; and a lash that doesn't flare too wide. Romantic is about creating a soft, inviting almond shape, not a round "surprised" look.

THE TWO-THIRDS PLACEMENT RULE

Instead of placing the lash right against your natural lash line, position it so that the outer third of the lash sits slightly higher than your inner corner. This lifts the eye and creates a gentle angle. Then trim the inner corner of the lash by 2-3mm so it doesn't poke your tear duct.

BLENDING YOUR NATURAL LASHES FOR A SOFT FINISH

After applying, press your natural lashes upward with your finger so they merge with the doll lash. Then apply one coat of brown mascara — this softens the transition. Add a hint of rose or champagne shadow under the lash line to make the lash look like it's part of your eye shape.

HOW TO CHOOSE A DOLL LASH THAT FEELS ROMANTIC
