1. Trim from the outer corner (2 seconds). Hold the lash up to your eye before you apply any glue. The lash should start where your natural lashes start. If there's extra, clip it from the outer tip — never the inner corner, which will pull your eye inward.
2. Apply a thin, even layer of glue and wait (10–15 seconds of patience). The single most common failure is not waiting long enough. The glue needs to turn tacky first. You'll know it's ready when a gentle fingertip touch feels slightly sticky, like a sticker. Tacky glue grabs the lash line. Wet glue slides around.
3. Place the center first (3 seconds). Nudge the middle of the band against your natural lash line — not above it, not below it. The center is the widest, most curved part of your eye, so it anchors the shape. Once it's down, gently press the inner corner, then the outer corner.
4. Pinch and go (2 seconds). Use your thumb and index finger to softly pinch your natural lashes together with the false lash. This merges the two lash lines into one. That's it. Ten seconds, done.

Center-first placement works because your eye's curve is deepest at the middle. When you anchor the middle, the rest of the lash has nowhere to go but along your natural lash line.
