Why Work Lashes Should Be Subtle and Neat

Before you wear lashes to work, run this test in the mirror:

1. The 10-second glance. If someone across a conference table can see your lashes clearly at a distance, they're not office-appropriate. Steps away they should read as "nice eyes," not "nice lashes."
2. The blink test. Do your lashes touch your brow bone or bump each other when you look up? That means they're fighting you in natural movement.
3. The grey-lighting check. Hold your phone flashlight up toward your face. If the lash casts a harsh shadow on your upper lid, it's too heavy for work.
