THE 6-HOUR VS 14-HOUR WEDDING LASH TEST

• 6 hours or less: A city hall wedding or lunch reception with no real tears? A regular lash might survive.
• 10–14 hours: A full wedding means two rounds of tears, heat from the dance floor, and at least 90 minutes of hugging. That is waterproof territory.

A good waterproof test at home: press a damp tissue against the lash. If the curl relaxes or the band gets wavy, it will fail on the wedding day.

MY 3-STEP WEDDING LASH WATERPROOF TEST

1. Curl check: press a wet cotton pad on the lash. Do the tips stay lifted?
2. Band check: tug gently. A flimsy band will peel when wet.
3. Wear check: wear them around the house for 3 hours and forget about them. If you remember they are there, keep looking.

When you find a lash that passes all three, you can cry happy tears and still look like the glowiest version of yourself.

Not if the band is light and the mapping follows your lash line. Waterproof refers to shape hold, not stiff plastic.

Yes. Use them for date nights, birthdays, or any event where you want to laugh and cry without worrying.

DO I STILL NEED WATERPROOF MASCARA?

Yes. Waterproof lashes do not stop your mascara from smudging. Use a waterproof mascara or skip mascara on the lash strip itself.
