These eyes are elongated, mysterious, and often have a downward or straight-across lash line that adds intensity. Look for lashes with dense, long fibers and little to no curl—flat lashes read as cold and controlled.

Archetype 4: The Ethereal Being (think elves, fairies, celestial entities). These characters exist beyond human norms, so their lashes should be exaggerated. Think extra length, unusual textures, or layered lashes stacked for maximum volume. This is where you get to play.

BUILDING YOUR CHARACTER'S EYE MAP

Before you buy anything, take 10 minutes to map out the character's eye shape. Print a reference photo and trace the lash line. Is it straight? Upturned? Downward? Now measure the length of the lashes at the inner corner, middle, and outer corner. Most characters have a distinct pattern—long outer corners, short inner corners, or uniform length.
