Use a thin, even line of lash glue along the band. That's it. The line should be about as thick as a toothpick. Most beginners use way too much.

Imagine drawing a line with a fine-tip marker. That's the width you're going for. Too little glue means the lash lifts at the edges. Too much glue means it slides down your lid, takes forever to dry, and leaves a visible white or black line.

The right amount: a continuous, thin layer that covers the entire band. You should see a slight shine, but no dripping.

WHY TOO MUCH GLUE IS THE #1 BEGINNER MISTAKE

When beginners hear "apply glue," they squeeze a thick bead onto the band. That extra glue doesn't make the lash stick better. It makes it slip. It also takes longer to get tacky, so you end up moving the lash around and smudging your eye makeup.
