Long-lasting wear means an all-day lash that stays stuck through meetings, lunch, tears (happy or sad), and sweat. It's built with a thicker band and stronger adhesive, so it can feel stiffer. Beach wear is all about water resistance: it should repel moisture, dry quickly, and not curl up when humidity hits. Beach-ready lashes usually have a more flexible band and a curl that won't drop when wet.

If you only want one pair, look for a "flexible-dry" lash. That means the band repels water, but does not absorb the adhesive and become brittle. Can I wear long-lasting lashes in the pool?
