5. Cut only the band, not the lash hairs, for the first pass. If it still touches your brow bone, clip 1mm off the hairs at a slight angle.

After trimming, set the lash on your hand to check the new curve. If it sits flat and the corners lie down, you are ready.

Most lash strips are straight across the bottom, but your lash line curves. The inner corner of your eye is lower and more delicate. When you trim the inner edge, you change the angle and create a gap that lifts all night. The outer edge is where you have the most space, so removing length there preserves the natural lift.
