FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do I know my eye shape before buying lashes?

Look straight into a mirror. If the crease of your eyelid is hidden by the brow bone or skin above your eye, you have hooded eyes - go for half lashes or clusters. If you can see your crease clearly, your eyes are likely almond or round - most lash styles will work. If you barely have a crease, you have monolid eyes - clusters or thin-band strips with extra curl are your best bet.

Can I wear false lashes with glasses or contacts?

Yes on both. For glasses, choose a shorter lash style so the lashes don't brush against the lens - half lashes are perfect here. For contacts, apply lashes before inserting your contacts to avoid trapping glue particles, or wait until any glue fumes have fully dried. Stick to latex-free glue if your eyes are sensitive.

How many times can I reuse a strip lash?

A well-cared-for strip lash can give you 10 to 20 wears. After each wear, peel off the dried glue from the band and store the lashes back in their tray. If the band gets gunked up beyond cleaning or the lashes start losing their curl, retire them. Never share lashes - that's how you get styes.

Why do my lashes lift at the inner corner?

Two reasons. One: the lash band is too long - you didn't trim enough off the outer end, so the inner corner is being pushed up by excess band. Trim a tiny bit more and test again. Two: the inner corner is curved upward while the band is still flat - really work that band into a U-shape before gluing, and use a tiny bit of extra glue on the very inner tip.

Do I need to wear mascara with false lashes?

Yes - one light coat on your natural lashes before applying. This gives the false lash something to blend into and helps hide the band. Once the falsies are on, you can optionally give them a gentle squeeze with a lash curler for extra cohesion. Do not curl after applying mascara to falsies - wet mascara on false lashes can make them droop.
