• Matches your lash line length. Most lash strips are 10–12 mm long. If your eye is smaller, trim from the outer edge — never the inner edge.
• Uses a slight curve. Eyes are spherical. A straight band pulls at the corners. A pre-curved band hugs the eye like it was made for it.

HOW TO TEST COMFORT BEFORE YOU BUY

You can't try lashes on in most stores anymore, but you can do a quick 'fake test' at home:

• Hold the band against your wrist. If it feels scratchy there, it'll feel worse on your eye.
• Bend it gently. If it creases or bends unevenly, it won't sit comfortably.
• Look at the band material. If you can see individual plastic threads, skip it.
