HOW TO MIX LONG AND SHORT STRANDS: A STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE

1. Measure and trim your base strip. Hold the base lash against your lash line and trim from the outer corner. Do not cut the inner corner — that is your alignment guide.
2. Create accent spikes. Take a longer lash pair (13–14mm) and cut off small clusters of 3–5 lashes. One pair can give you enough clusters for both eyes.
3. Apply the base strip normally. Use a thin layer of adhesive, wait 20–30 seconds until it turns tacky, then press the strip onto your lash line starting at the center.
4. Place the accent spikes on top. Add a tiny dab of adhesive to each cluster and press them onto the outer third of the base strip, slightly overlapping the band.
5. Press and hold for 10 seconds. This bonds the layers together and prevents shifting.
