3/4 profile: This is the model angle. The outer corner of the lash must be long enough to be visible, but not so long that it looks fake from the side.

Side profile: The layers matter. Single-layer lashes look like a sheet from the side. Multi-layered lashes create depth, which reads as natural even in high-res crops.

Looking down: Editors never tell you this, but they shoot models looking down for beauty shots. This angle exposes the base of the lash. If the band is visible or lifting, it's game over.

• Press test: Gently press the outer corner of each lash. If it doesn't stay, don't risk it.
