Skipping the 'tacky time'. If you press the lash on while adhesive is still wet, it will slide as it dries. Wait 30–45 seconds until the adhesive feels tacky instead.
Using a lash with a heavy, thick band. Thick bands trap moisture and snow. Thin, flexible bands sit deeper into your lash line and resist the elements.

Wait 60 seconds after applying adhesive before opening your eyes.
Tap a cotton pad along the band to press out any air bubbles.
Apply a clear lash topcoat (or setting spray) over the band.
Avoid rubbing your eyes when you come inside — steam can also loosen the bond.
Carry a mini spoolie and a travel mirror to fix upper corners.
