HOW TO MEASURE YOUR LASH LINE WITHOUT A RULER

Place the lash on your eyelid before trimming, without glue. You want the band to start a few millimeters from the inner corner and end before your natural lash line ends. The inner corner shouldn't poke into your eye. If the lash overextends past your outer lash line, you need to trim.

THE SAFE WAY TO TRIM (OUTSIDE CORNER)

Always trim from the outer corner, not the inner. Cut tiny pieces, about 1-2mm at a time, from the outside edge. If you cut the inner corner, you lose the subtle gradient that connects to your actual lashes. A clean sharp scissors is non-negotiable. Blunt scissors crush the fibers.

COMMON TRIMMING MISTAKES (AND HOW TO FIX THEM)

Trimming too much: You can't add lash back. Cut less, test, then cut again.
Cutting at an angle: Keep the scissors perpendicular to the band. A diagonal cut makes a jagged edge.
Trimming from the inner corner: You'll change the shape and lose the natural blend.
Forgetting to curl before gluing: If you trim after curling, you'll loosen the band's shape.
