How to Apply False Lashes Perfectly in 5 Minutes

THE 5-MINUTE LASH ROUTINE THAT WORKS

MINUTE 3: APPLY ADHESIVE OR OPEN THE MAGNET

If you are using glue, apply a thin strip along the band and wait 30 seconds for it to become tacky. If you are using magnetic lashes, separate the two pieces and get ready to sandwich your natural lashes between them.

MINUTE 4: PLACE AND PRESS

Look slightly downward into a mirror. Place the lash at the center of your natural lash line, then press the inner and outer corners down. Hold for 10 seconds. For magnetic lashes, place the top piece above your lashes, the bottom piece below, and let the magnets snap together.

MINUTE 5: BLEND AND GO

Press your natural lashes and the false lash together with your fingers or a spoolie. Apply a thin layer of mascara at the base of the false lash if needed. Fill any visible gaps with black eyeliner. Done. Walk out the door.

3 MISTAKES THAT SLOW YOU DOWN

Using old glue. Glue older than 3 months turns clumpy and slow. This is why application always takes forever.
Skipping the trim. An untrimmed band is the number one reason lashes lift. Trim once, and application gets 50% faster.
Placing while the glue is wet. Wet glue slides around. Wait for the 30-second tacky stage and your lash will stay exactly where you place it.

Inner corner lifting? Add one extra dot of glue at the corner. For magnetic lashes, press the magnets together once more.
Outer edge gap? Press your natural lash and the false lash together with your thumb for 15 seconds.
