When I tested 15 different lashes against a bathroom sink, only a handful kept their shape after a 30-second shower. The ones that failed? Real mink and real hair. - Shake off the water. Check the band: is it misshapen?
- Press the lash down on your palm. Does it spring back to its original curl? If yes, it’s water-resistant.

CAN I SWIM IN FALSE LASHES?

Most synthetic lashes can be cleaned and reused 20–30 times if you remove them gently. The curl stays because water can’t break it down.
DO I NEED SPECIAL GLUE?
Yes. Even a water-resistant lash won’t stay if the adhesive isn’t water-safe. Look for a latex-free waterproof adhesive that says “long-wear” or “water-resistant.”
