If it springs back instantly with no crease, it will survive blinking, laughing, and a panic cry.
If it stays creased, the band is too stiff and will lift on your eye.
If it snaps, that's an instant no.

Also, look at the band. It should be transparent or very thin. A thick black band catches the light and makes it more obvious when the lash starts to shift.
